    It all begins with a passion.

    Mel’s passion for working with small businesses and animals collided 6 years ago when she began working with veterinary practices and she hasn’t looked back since. It brings her joy to work with veterinary teams to help them understand their financials and use the data to create change and drive profitability.

    Mel received her Bachelor's degree in Finance from Indiana University and an MBA from Arkansas State University.

    In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Brent and their dog Bentley, taking group fitness classes, playing board games and volunteering at the local humane society.

  • Brent Helton, MBA

    VETERINARY ACCOUNTANT

    Brent leads the business planning and reporting capabilities here at VetPro. He enjoys working closely with DVMs and practice managers and helping them solve their complex data challenges.  

    Brent received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Business Management and Administration and an MBA from Arkansas State University with a focus on Supply Chain. Brent spends his free time with his wife Mel and their Yorkie, Bentley, and is often found on the golf course.

  • Maddie Temple

    VETERINARY ACCOUNTANT

    Maddie’s love of accounting combined with her love for pets has led her to the veterinary accounting world. She’s passionate about the veterinary industry and helping small business owners to manage and grow their financial well-being. Maddie spent her earlier career focusing on accounting for e-commerce activities but has been working in veterinary accounting for the last few years and hasn’t looked back.

    Maddie is a Colorado native who received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Colorado State University. In her spare time, she loves adventuring with her fiancé, John, and spending time with their dog, Benny, and two cats, Kitty and KitKat. 

  • Amy Sprague

    VETERINARY ACCOUNTANT

    Amy brings many years of experience in hospitality accounting, with a strong background in financial operations and client services. She is passionate about helping businesses run efficiently and accurately through thoughtful, detail-oriented support.

    Outside of work, Amy enjoys cooking & working on home projects with her husband, Jon, along with spending time with their beloved crew of three dogs and three cats.

  • Christina McFadden

    VETERINARY ACCOUNTANT

    Christina's passion for both animals and accounting has led her to a fulfilling career in veterinary accounting, which she finds deeply rewarding. After earning her associate degree in accounting from Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, where she was born and raised, she has embraced this unique niche that combines her interests. 

    Outside of work, Christina cherishes time with her family, especially her son and their two fur babies, Charlie and Marley. Whether they're fishing in the mountains or simply enjoying the outdoors, they always make the most of their time together. Christina's dedication to her profession and her love for her family create a wonderful balance in her life. 

  • Vivian Halles

    VETERINARY ACCOUNTANT

    Vivian combines a lifelong love for animals with a strong background in corporate accounting within the food industry. She made the purposeful shift to veterinary accounting to help small businesses strengthen their financial foundation and achieve sustainable growth.

    Vivian received both her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and her Master’s in Accounting from University of Wyoming. In her spare time, she loves to travel around the world and spend time outside with family and friends.
